DudeMeds Review: Is It Legit?
DudeMeds review: compounded and brand-name GLP-1s from $149/mo, whether it names its pharmacy, FDA warning letters and complaints. See if it's legit.
DudeMeds is a men's health telehealth brand that sells GLP-1 medication with the drug in the price. It suits men who want low-cost compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide without a video visit, and who will stay at least three months.
We rate it 8.3 out of 10, tier Good. The prices are low and every fee is $0.
The catch: the first three months of medication fees are due even if you stop.
No FDA warning letter on file for DudeMeds as of Oct 5, 2026, in the FDA’s published warning letter list.

What is DudeMeds?
DudeMeds is an online clinic built for men, and weight loss is one of the programs it runs. You get the drug, the prescriber and the delivery in one monthly price.
Here is how it goes. You start with a free online consultation and answer a few questions. A licensed provider reviews your answers. The home page says there are "no virtual or face-to-face doctor visits required in most states". If you qualify, the prescription is written and the drug ships to your door. Refills run on the same plan.
The menu has four options, all weekly injections. Two are compounded: semaglutide and tirzepatide. Two are brand-name: Wegovy and Zepbound. DudeMeds also lists oral semaglutide but publishes no price for it. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide. DudeMeds ships to 46 states, US addresses only.
Is DudeMeds legit?
Mostly yes. DudeMeds uses US-licensed prescribers, states the pharmacy type its drugs come from, and has no FDA warning letter. The gaps are a missing pharmacy name, no LegitScript badge, and compounded drugs labelled as generics. It is a real clinic with a thin paper trail on the pharmacy side.
DudeMeds names no pharmacy. It says its drugs come from a 503A pharmacy, which compounds for a named patient, or a 503B outsourcing facility, which registers with the FDA. With no name, there is nothing to match against the FDA register.
Each drug is named with its form. But the site labels the compounded drugs as generic Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro or Zepbound. A compounded drug is not a generic. It is made by a pharmacy and is not FDA-approved.
How much does DudeMeds cost?
DudeMeds costs $149 a month all in for compounded semaglutide, with the drug, the prescriber and the shipping included. There is no membership fee, no doctor fee and no shipping fee.
Compounded tirzepatide is $233 a month. Both are starting prices, and the page does not say which plan length they need. The brand-name drugs cost far more: Wegovy is $1,500 a month and Zepbound is $1,350 a month. Each price held when we read it again. DudeMeds does not bill insurance, so you pay the full price yourself.
The three-month lock decides your real cost. DudeMeds' terms make the first three months of medication fees due, even if you stop treatment. So three months of compounded semaglutide total $447, whatever happens.
People search for a DudeMeds coupon code. The pages we read show no public code. The discount on offer is a lower rate later: the Forbes page says "After 12 weeks of care, established patient plans start at less than $20 per week". DudeMeds puts that at about $77 a month. That rate is for patients who stay past the first three months.
On its shortest plan, a 3-month commitment, DudeMeds ranks 4 of the 18 compounded programs in its group. The median there is $179 a month. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost, not what a patient pays.

How does DudeMeds work?
The care runs through an online intake and a patient portal, not scheduled visits. US-licensed doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants review your intake. A telehealth call happens only when it is medically needed.
After that, the portal is your line to the team. The home page says "Stay connected through our 24/7 Patient Portal." Clinicians answer questions and help adjust your medication there.
Shipping is free, with a 48-hour turnaround after approval. Eligibility is set by a licensed provider. DudeMeds does not state how long the first review takes. It also does not say whether it asks for labs.
Is DudeMeds safe? FDA status and warning letters
DudeMeds has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. No letter names a pharmacy tied to it. Its record is clean.
DudeMeds does not hold a LegitScript badge. LegitScript certifies online pharmacies and telehealth sites against a set of rules. Its absence is not a finding against DudeMeds. It is one fewer outside check.
With a compounded drug, the safety question is the drug itself. The FDA does not review a pharmacy-made drug the way it reviews Wegovy or Zepbound. For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our semaglutide and tirzepatide pages, which quote the FDA labels.
How to cancel DudeMeds
You can cancel DudeMeds at any time, but you still owe the first three months of medication fees. That is the minimum commitment, written into the terms of sale.
DudeMeds publishes no refund policy beyond this: prescription medicines cannot be returned. You are not charged if the clinical team turns down your request. Once your medication ships, that part is not refunded.
The trap is the word cancel. Stopping after one month does not stop the bill for months two and three. Start only if you plan to stay at least that long.
What customers say about DudeMeds
DudeMeds publishes very few reviews on the pages we read. The one on the home page talks about eating normally while on compounded semaglutide. This site collects no independent reviews of its own.
That review says nothing about the service, the portal, the shipping or the three-month commitment. One review is not much to go on. Read it as one person's experience, as the brand chose to show it. Read the prices and terms above for what you will pay and what you sign up for.
