Enhance MD Review: Is It Legit?
Enhance MD review: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from $249/mo, the pharmacy it uses, FDA warning letters and complaints. See if it's legit.
Enhance MD is a compounded GLP-1 program with labs, the provider and the drug in one price. It suits people who want lab work and a video visit before they start, with no contract.
We rate it 8.2 out of 10, tier Good. The care is thorough and the terms are clean, but the price sits high in its group.
The catch: the $212 semaglutide rate is a 12-month plan, and month to month you pay $249.
No FDA warning letter on file for Enhance MD as of Oct 7, 2026, in the FDA’s published warning letter list.

What is Enhance MD?
Enhance MD is an online clinic for metabolic health that prescribes compounded GLP-1 medication. One plan price covers the drug, the labs, the provider and the shipping.
Here is how it goes. You order and get your labs drawn at Quest Diagnostics. Results take 1-2 business days. Then you meet a licensed provider in a video visit, who decides whether you are eligible. If you are, a partner pharmacy fills the prescription and mails it to you. Refills continue on your plan.
The menu is built around three weight-loss products. Core is compounded semaglutide. Advanced is compounded tirzepatide. Elite combines the two, and there is a microdosing tirzepatide product too. Enhance MD also sells NAD+ therapy, which is not a GLP-1. All are injections, and none is a brand-name drug. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide. Enhance MD serves 41 places so far: 40 states plus DC.
Is Enhance MD legit?
Yes. Enhance MD uses licensed providers, requires labs and a video visit, names its pharmacies, and has no FDA warning letter. It says plainly that its drugs are compounded and not FDA-approved. The one gap is that it does not say which pharmacy fills which order.
It works with a network of third-party pharmacies: Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub. The product pages are plain about what you get: "This compounded formulation is not FDA-approved and is intended solely for patients under active care of a licensed prescriber. It is compounded in accordance with federal Section 503A guidelines."
A 503A pharmacy compounds a drug for one named patient on a prescription, under a state board. None of the three pharmacies appears in the FDA register we read, which is normal for that pharmacy type.
How much does Enhance MD cost?
Enhance MD costs $249 a month all in for compounded semaglutide on the monthly plan, with the drug, labs, provider and shipping included. There is no consultation fee and no shipping fee.
Compounded tirzepatide is $329 a month on the monthly plan. The price is the same at every dose. Both are billed every 4 weeks, not every calendar month.
Enhance MD publishes no coupon code on the pages we read. The discount it does offer is $50 off your first order, so the first fill costs $199 for semaglutide or $279 for tirzepatide.
Longer plans cost less per month, but you commit up front. Semaglutide is $237 a month on a 3-month plan, $224 on a 6-month plan and $212 on a 12-month plan. Tirzepatide is $313, $296 and $280 on the same plans. The 12-month plan is billed every 48 weeks.
Enhance MD does not bill insurance, so you pay the full price yourself. It does not state a membership fee either way. Three months at the monthly semaglutide rate total $697. Each price held when we read it again.
That puts Enhance MD at rank 16 of the 18 compounded programs in its group on month-to-month prices. The median there is $179 a month. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost, not what a patient pays.

How does Enhance MD work?
The care starts with labs and a video visit, before any prescription. You cannot see a provider until your lab results are in. Lab testing every 6 months is in the price.
At the video visit, a licensed provider checks your eligibility, using your BMI and your medical history. After that, each plan includes virtual visits with an Enhance MD provider. You can message the care team in a private portal, and Enhance MD aims to reply in under 24 hours.
Enhance MD says board-certified physicians lead its protocols. The site is clear that a prescription is never automatic: "Payment does not guarantee the prescribing or dispensing of medication." It does not state how fast the drug ships once prescribed.
Is Enhance MD safe? FDA status and warning letters
Enhance MD has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. None of its three pharmacies appears in the letters we hold. Its record is clean.
The safety question with a compounded program is the drug itself. A pharmacy makes it to a prescription, and the FDA does not review it the way it reviews Wegovy or Zepbound. The lab work before the first visit gives the provider more to go on.
NAD+ therapy is sold on the same site, but it is not a GLP-1 drug and we do not review it here. For side effects, doses and who should not take the GLP-1 drugs, read our semaglutide and tirzepatide pages, which quote the FDA labels.
How to cancel Enhance MD
You can cancel the monthly plan at any time, and it carries no minimum term. The longer plans are prepaid for 3, 6 or 12 months, so cancel before the next bill if you want to stop.
The refund rule is simple. If you are found ineligible during onboarding, you get 100% of your first payment back. After that, a month you have paid for stays paid.
The trap is the 12-month plan: it is billed every 48 weeks, so the $212 rate comes as one large bill. Pick it only if you know you will stay a year.

What customers say about Enhance MD
Enhance MD shows no customer testimonials on the pages we read. This site collects no independent reviews of its own, so there is no star rating to weigh here.
People search for Enhance MD complaints, and the likely ones sit in the price terms. The monthly plan bills every 4 weeks, not once a calendar month. The low headline rate needs a prepaid 12-month plan. Before you pay, check which plan the checkout has selected and when it bills next.
