Gala Health Review: Cost & Is It Legit?
Gala Health review: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from $179/mo, whether it names its pharmacy, FDA warning letters and complaints.
Gala Health is a compounded GLP-1 program built for women, with the provider, the drug and the shipping in one monthly charge. It suits you if you want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide with coaching and a dietitian, and you are ready to commit to a year.
We rate it 7.6 out of 10, tier Good. Every fee is $0 and the price is on a public page, but no pharmacy is named.
The catch is the plan length: the $179 rate is a yearly subscription, and no month-to-month price is public.
No FDA warning letter on file for Gala Health as of Sep 25, 2026, in the FDA’s published warning letter list.

What is Gala Health?
Gala Health is an online clinic for women that sells compounded GLP-1 injections on a subscription. It also treats menopause and offers a longevity program.
Here is how it goes. You answer an intake quiz online. A US-licensed clinician reads your full profile. Gala says they "prescribe what's right for you, or come back with a question — never a templated form." If a GLP-1 fits, the prescription goes to a compounding pharmacy Gala does not name. The medication ships free, refrigerated as needed. Refills continue on the same plan, with provider support for as long as you stay on it.
The core menu is two weekly injections, both compounded: semaglutide and tirzepatide. The home page also lists a microdosing tirzepatide plan at $149 a month and brand-name Ozempic at $1,299 a month cash. A Wegovy pill is listed as coming soon.
Gala's terms say plainly that compounded GLP-1 medications "are not FDA-approved". To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide. Gala serves all 50 states.
How much does Gala Health cost?
Gala Health costs $179 a month all in for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, on a yearly subscription. The pricing page reads "From $179/month All doses included", next to the words "Yearly subscription".
The rate is the same for both drugs and for every dose. The membership fee, the consultation fee and the shipping fee are each $0, and the medication is in the price. Gala does not bill insurance.
Shorter plans cost more. The home page FAQ says "starting at just $199 per month (with a 3-month plan)". No page shows a month-to-month price, and the pricing button opens the intake quiz. So $179 is the price only if you sign up for 12 months. Three months at that rate total $537, with no fees added.
What the price buys is the drug, the prescriber and the delivery, plus coaching, a dietitian and an app. What it does not buy is flexibility.
On a 12-month plan, Gala ranks 9 of the 18 compounded programs in its group, at the group median of $179 a month. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost for the brand-name drug, not what a patient pays.
Gala Health tirzepatide price
Compounded tirzepatide costs $179 a month on the yearly subscription, the same as semaglutide. The home page lists compounded GLP-1 and GIP with tirzepatide at that rate, and the pricing page says all doses are included. So the price does not climb as your dose rises.
A 3-month plan starts at $199 a month. The home page also lists a microdosing tirzepatide plan at $149 a month. No page shows a month-to-month tirzepatide price. Shipping, the consultation and the membership are each $0 on top. For what tirzepatide is, read our tirzepatide page.

Is Gala Health legit?
Mostly. Gala Health uses US-licensed prescribers in all 50 states, publishes its prices and terms, and has no FDA warning letter or open flag. The gap is the pharmacy: Gala names none.
The terms say only that compounded medications "are sourced from a licensed compounding pharmacy, and we disclaim any liability related to their use." Without a name, there is no pharmacy to look up in the FDA register, and no inspection record to read. Gala does not say whether the pharmacy compounds for one patient at a time or is an outsourcing facility registered with the FDA.
What Gala does state clearly is the drug. Each product names the molecule, the injection form and the word compounded. Traceability scores 5.8 out of 10, and a named pharmacy is the one thing that would lift it.
How does Gala Health work?
The care starts with a written review, not a video visit. A licensed provider reads your intake and decides on a plan, or messages you with a question. For its longevity program, Gala says "A licensed provider reviews your intake, no video call required".
After that, the support is broad. Gala lists unlimited provider visits, nutrition and mental health coaching, one-on-one dietitian support, live coach sessions and a GLP-1 app. Symptom check-ins, dose adjustments and provider messaging are included for as long as you are treated. The pricing page says each order is "Reviewed and prescribed by a licensed provider".
Two things Gala does not state: how long the first review takes, and whether you need labs. Clinical care scores 7.2 out of 10, and a stated wait time is what would lift it.
Is Gala Health safe? FDA status and warning letters
Gala Health has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. Its record is clean. There is nothing against a pharmacy either, because none is named.
Gala shows no LegitScript certification, a third-party check that online pharmacies and telehealth sites can apply for. That is why safety scores 8.75 out of 10 and not 10.
The question with a compounded program is the drug itself. A pharmacy makes it, and the FDA does not review it the way it reviews Wegovy or Zepbound. Gala's own FAQ says "Compounded medications are made by licensed compounding pharmacies under FDA oversight." For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our semaglutide and tirzepatide pages, which quote the FDA labels.
How to cancel Gala Health
You can cancel, but the plans carry a 12-month commitment. Gala asks for notice 72 hours before your billing date. Miss that window and the next charge goes through.
The refund rule is narrow. The policy says "if you are disqualified by our medical provider for any medical reason you will receive a full refund." There is no refund when you cancel, so a cancelled month is a paid month.
The trap is the yearly plan. The $179 rate is the year-long rate. Sign up only if you are ready to stay on the drug for 12 months. Terms score 8 out of 10: cancellation is allowed and the refund rule is written down, but the commitment is long.

What customers say about Gala Health
Gala publishes a reviews page on its own site, but we found no patient testimonial on it that we could quote. So there are no quote cards on this page.
This site collects no independent reviews, and Gala is a newer platform with few reviews elsewhere. That leaves you with little to go on from other patients. Read the price, the terms and the plan length above for what you will pay and sign. If you want to hear from other patients first, look outside the brand's own site before you commit to a year.
How we scored Gala Health
Price transparency scores 9.67 at a 20% weight: every fee is $0 and the price is public, but no month-to-month rate is shown. Cost and value scores 6 at a 15% weight: rank 9 of 18 on a 12-month plan, at the median. Traceability scores 5.8 at a 15% weight: no pharmacy named. Clinical care scores 7.2 at a 15% weight: a licensed review and broad support, no wait time or lab policy.
Safety scores 8.75 at a 20% weight: no letter, no flag, no LegitScript badge. Terms score 8 at a 10% weight: cancellation allowed, a 12-month commitment. Availability scores 10 at a 5% weight: all 50 states and free shipping.
Our fresh computation gives 7.8, a move of 0.2. That is under our 0.3 threshold, so the published 7.6 stands until a later crawl confirms it. Since our last check, price transparency rose from 9.29 to 9.67, clinical care from 6.5 to 7.2 and availability from 8.75 to 10. The weights are on our methodology page.
