HealthRX Review: Is It Legit?

HealthRX is an online service that connects you with a clinician and a compounding pharmacy for GLP-1 weight management. It says "We do not employ doctors and we do not own a pharmacy."

Here is how it goes. You pay for a plan, then fill in a medical intake online. An independent US-licensed clinician reviews it, typically within about 24 hours. If treatment fits, the prescription goes to a licensed compounding pharmacy that makes the drug for you as a named patient. The pharmacy ships it overnight, cold, to your door. Refills renew on your plan until you cancel.

The menu has two drugs, both compounded and both weekly injections. They contain semaglutide and tirzepatide, the active ingredients in Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound. There is no brand-name option. The home page also sells an NAD+ injection for longevity, from $161 a month.

Compounded means a pharmacy makes the drug to a prescription. It is not an FDA-approved product. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide. HealthRX ships to all 50 states.

Mostly yes. HealthRX states plainly what it is: a service that links you with independent US-licensed clinicians and a licensed compounding pharmacy. It has no FDA warning letter, and its prices, terms and refund policy are public. It does not name the pharmacy or the clinicians, so you cannot look either one up yourself.

The pharmacy is a 503A pharmacy, meaning it compounds for a named patient on a prescription. State boards regulate these pharmacies. Outsourcing facilities, the other kind, register with the FDA. But with no pharmacy name, there is no license to check and no inspection record to read. If you search for the HealthRX pharmacy, that is the answer: the brand does not say which one fills your order.

What HealthRX does state clearly is the drug. Each product page names the molecule, the injection form and the word compounded. The product page shows LegitScript certificate 50087439.

HealthRX costs $165 a month for compounded semaglutide on the monthly plan, after a first month at $149. That price includes the medication, the clinician review and shipping, with no other fee.

Tirzepatide is $193 for the first month, then $214 a month. Both monthly plans renew until you cancel. The price is the same at every dose.

Longer plans cost less per month. Semaglutide is $399 for 3 months, $714 for 6 months and $1,188 for 12 months, which works out to $99 a month. Tirzepatide is $627 for 3 months, $1,194 for 6 months and $2,148 for 12 months, which works out to $179 a month. A 3-month renewal drops to $374 or $602 after a $25 subscriber credit.

HealthRX publishes no coupon code on the pages we read. The discounts it does offer are the lower first month, the longer plans and that $25 renewal credit.

One line on the pricing page does not match. It says semaglutide is "$190 on the monthly plan". The product page and the FAQ both say $165 after the first month. Treat $165 as the monthly price until checkout shows you yours.

There is nothing on top. The membership, consultation and shipping fees are each $0. HealthRX does not bill insurance, but the plans are HSA and FSA eligible. Three months at the monthly rate total $479.

On month-to-month prices, HealthRX ranks 6 of the 18 compounded programs in its group. The median there is $179 a month. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost for the brand-name drug, not what a patient pays.

The care is a written review by a clinician, not a scheduled video visit. You complete the consultation online after you pay, and a licensed provider reviews it, typically within about 24 hours. The provider decides on your treatment.

If you are approved, the pharmacy prepares the drug and ships it overnight with rush, no-contact delivery. HealthRX says most patients have the medication "within days of starting the consultation." Every plan includes the provider review, the prescription when appropriate, the medication and overnight shipping.

HealthRX does not describe follow-up visits, messaging or a lab policy. Ask about all three before you start if ongoing contact with a clinician matters to you.

HealthRX has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. Its record is clean. There is nothing against a pharmacy either, because none is named.

The safety question with a compounded program is the drug itself. A compounded GLP-1 is made by a pharmacy, and the FDA does not review it the way it reviews Wegovy or Zepbound. The HealthRX product pages tell you to "Discuss with your prescriber and pharmacist" before you start.

You can cancel HealthRX at any time, and no plan carries a minimum term. The monthly plans renew until you cancel, so you stop the next charge by cancelling before it.

The refund rule is short. If a provider does not approve you after your intake, you get a full refund. Once you are approved and the medication ships, the money is spent. The refund policy page sets out returns and refunds in full.

The trap is the prepaid plan. The $99 rate means paying $1,188 up front for a year of semaglutide. Prepay only if you are sure you will stay on the drug that long.

We found no patient testimonial on any of the HealthRX pages we read, so there are no quote cards on this page. The only voice on the site is the brand's own. This site collects no independent reviews of its own.

That leaves you with little to go on from other patients. Read the price, the plan lengths and the refund rule above for what you will pay and sign. If you want to hear from other patients first, look for independent HealthRX reviews before you prepay for a longer plan.

Safety scores 10 at a 20% weight: no letter, no flag, a clean record. Terms score 10 at a 10% weight: cancel anytime, refund rule stated. Availability scores 10 at a 5% weight: all 50 states and free overnight shipping.
