MyDrHank Review: Is It Legit?

MyDrHank review: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from $171/mo, whether it names its pharmacy, FDA warning letters and complaints. See if it's legit.

Last updated Aug 27, 2026
Quick answer

MyDrHank is an online GLP-1 program that prescribes compounded medication only: compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide. Plans start at $171 a month. We rate it 8.3/10 (Good). It does not name the pharmacy that fills its prescriptions. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. No FDA warning letter is on file for MyDrHank as of Aug 27, 2026.

Good · 8.3Compounded only

MyDrHank is an online clinic that sells compounded GLP-1s at one flat monthly price. It suits people who want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide with no plan to sign, and anyone who wants a daily tablet instead of a shot.

We rate it 8.3 out of 10, tier Good. Every fee is $0 and you can cancel anytime, but the pharmacies are not named.

The catch: the same injections show two prices on two live pages, so check yours at checkout. MyDrHank also publishes no refund policy.

What is MyDrHank?

MyDrHank is a telehealth brand that sells compounded weight-loss drugs, along with hair loss and anti-aging treatments. Weight loss is its main line.

Here is how it goes. You fill in an online intake. A U.S.-licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether a GLP-1 fits you. If it does, the prescription goes to a compounding pharmacy, and the drug ships to your door. Refills continue month to month, with check-ins and dose changes from the care team.

The menu has three products, all compounded. Compounded semaglutide comes as a weekly injection with vitamin B-12. Compounded tirzepatide also comes as a weekly injection with vitamin B-12. The third is a daily tablet, semaglutide with a low dose of ondansetron. There is no brand-name option.

Compounded means a pharmacy makes the drug to a prescription. It is not an FDA-approved product, and MyDrHank says so on its site. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide. MyDrHank ships to the contiguous US only.

Is MyDrHank legit?

Mostly yes. MyDrHank is a real telehealth brand with licensed prescribers, a clear account of how its drugs are made, and no FDA warning letter. The gap is that it does not name its pharmacies, so you cannot check them yourself.

The site states "MyDrHank prescribes compounded medications prepared by FDA-registered pharmacies." It says these are compounding pharmacies that fill a prescription for one named patient, the kind state boards regulate. But it gives no names, and the list is available only on request. With no names, there is nothing to match against the FDA register we read.

The rest is clear. Each product page names the molecule, the form and what it is mixed with. The site says plainly that the drugs are compounded. Ask for the pharmacy list before your first order, and look each name up on your state board's site.

The entry price is $171 a month for the semaglutide tablet, with the drug, the provider and shipping included. There is no other fee.

The injections are where the prices split. The product page lists compounded semaglutide from $178 a month. The GLP-1 landing pages list the same product at $171 a month on the same day. Compounded tirzepatide is from $240 a month on its product page, and $200 on the landing pages. Treat the product page price as the one you will pay, until checkout shows you otherwise.

Each price is flat at every dose, so it does not rise as your dose goes up. There is no membership fee, no consultation fee and no shipping fee. MyDrHank does not bill insurance. It publishes no plan totals and no discount code on the pages we read, only one from-price per drug. Three months of the tablet at the monthly rate total $513, with no fees added.

That puts MyDrHank at rank 7 of the 18 compounded programs in its group on month-to-month prices. The median there is $179 a month. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost for the brand-name drug, not what a patient pays.

How does MyDrHank work?

The care runs through a care team you message, not scheduled video visits. The team checks in on you and adjusts your dose over time.

A licensed provider decides whether you are eligible. The terms say a provider "will only prescribe a medication as determined in his/her own discretion and professional judgment." The GLP-1 pages promise a physician review within 24 hours. MyDrHank's main site says 48 hours. Plan on two days to be safe.

Once approved, the drug ships free to your door, and refills follow each month until you cancel. MyDrHank does not state whether you need labs, or how often follow-ups happen. Ask the care team both questions before you pay.

Is MyDrHank safe? FDA status and warning letters

MyDrHank has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. Its record is clean. There is nothing against a pharmacy either, because none is named.

The safety question with a compounded program is the drug itself. A compounded GLP-1 is made by a pharmacy, and the FDA does not review it the way it reviews Wegovy or Zepbound. MyDrHank's mixes add a second ingredient, vitamin B-12 in the shots and ondansetron in the tablet. Ask your provider about both before you start.

For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our semaglutide and tirzepatide pages, which quote the FDA labels.

How to cancel MyDrHank

Cancellation
Cancel anytime
Money-back guarantee
None published.

You can cancel at any time, and no plan carries a minimum term. Every product is billed month to month, so there is no prepaid plan to get stuck in.

MyDrHank publishes no refund policy anywhere on its site. So assume a month you have paid for is gone once it ships. Cancel before your next billing date, not after.

The one trap is the price you start on. If you signed up from a landing page at $171 or $200, check that your renewal stays at that rate. The product pages show $178 and $240 for the same injections.

What customers say about MyDrHank

We found no patient testimonial on the MyDrHank pages we read, so there are no quote cards on this page. The only voice on the site is the brand's own. This site collects no independent reviews either.

That leaves you with little to go on from other patients. MyDrHank is a small brand, and independent reviews of it are thin. Read the prices and the cancel rules above for what you will pay and what you sign. If you want to hear from other patients first, look for independent reviews before your first order, and check whether they mention the price at renewal.

How we scored MyDrHank

Price transparency scores 10 at a 20% weight: every price and fee is on a product page. Cost and value scores 7 at a 15% weight: rank 7 of 18 on month-to-month prices, no fee load. Traceability scores 7.2 at a 15% weight: the pharmacy type is stated, the names are not. Clinical care scores 7.2 at a 15% weight: a stated wait time, no lab policy.

Safety scores 8.75 at a 20% weight: no letter, no flag, a clean record. Terms score 8.25 at a 10% weight: cancel anytime, no refund policy. Availability scores 7 at a 5% weight: free shipping, but no state count.

Our fresh computation gives 8.1, a move of 0.2. That is under our 0.3 threshold, so the published 8.3 stands until a later crawl confirms it. Since our last check, cost and value fell from 8 to 7 as prices moved across its group. The weights are on our methodology page.
