Sprout Health Review: Cost & Is It Legit?
Sprout Health review: compounded and brand-name GLP-1s from $149/mo, the pharmacy it uses, FDA warning letters and complaints. See if it's legit.
Sprout Health is an online GLP-1 program with the drug, the clinician and shipping in one monthly price. It sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, plus brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound. It suits people who want a low month-to-month price, no membership fee and the freedom to cancel.
We rate it 8.6 out of 10, tier Very good. The prices are low and clear, and the terms let you leave at any time.
The catch is the FDA record. Sprout Health has an open FDA warning letter, dated September 9, 2025.

What is Sprout Health?
Sprout Health is a telehealth weight-loss program that prescribes GLP-1 drugs and ships them to you. The clinician, the drug and the shipping come in one monthly price.
Here is how it goes. You take a 2-minute pre-qualification quiz, then a full medical questionnaire. A US-licensed clinician reviews it, sets your starting dose and can prescribe the same day. In some states the law requires a live visit, and doctors from MD Integrations run those. "If our provider determines treatment isn’t a fit, your order is automatically cancelled." If you are approved, a partner pharmacy fills the order and ships it free. Each refill comes after a monthly check-in.
The menu has compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections. Brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound are also on offer. For what these drugs are, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide.
Sprout Health ships to all 50 states. If you already take a GLP-1, it offers a "Free transition consult with a US-licensed provider".
How much does Sprout Health cost?
The entry plan costs $149 a month all in: compounded semaglutide, the clinician and the shipping. The site puts it plainly: "Personalized GLP-1 care from $ 149 /mo · no membership fee".
Compounded tirzepatide starts at $199 a month. Longer plans cost less: $110 a month on the 6-month plan and as low as $99 a month on the 12-month plan. Brand-name drugs cost far more. Wegovy starts at $1,799 a month, and Zepbound at $1,999.
There is no membership fee, no consultation fee and no shipping fee. Sprout Health does not bill insurance. Three months on the monthly semaglutide plan total $447.
These prices sit on the home page, not on a separate pricing page. The semaglutide and tirzepatide prices held when we read them again. That puts Sprout Health at rank 3 of the 15 programs in its group on month-to-month prices, where the median is $199 a month.
For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost, not what a patient pays.
Sprout Health tirzepatide price
Compounded tirzepatide costs $199 a month on the monthly plan at Sprout Health. The page says the monthly price stays the same as your dose changes, so a higher dose does not raise the bill. There is no membership, consultation or shipping fee on top. The home page lists a "Compounded Tirzepatide · 12 -month plan" as well, at a lower monthly rate. Brand-name Zepbound, the approved tirzepatide pen, starts at $1,999 a month. Our price check matched the $199 figure again on the home page. For what tirzepatide is, see our tirzepatide page.
Does Sprout Health have a discount code?
Sprout Health publishes no public discount code on the pages we read. The discount it does offer is the longer plan. The home page says "Lock in one low price, as low as $99/mo on the 12-month plan." A 6-month plan sits at $110 a month. Both rates mean you commit for longer, so read the refund rule in the cancel section before you choose one. Be wary of codes posted on other sites: Sprout Health's own pages show none, and the monthly plan has no promo price.

Is Sprout Health legit?
Mostly. Sprout Health is a real telehealth business with clear prices, clear terms and a licensed clinician on every prescription. It names its two pharmacies: Foothills Pharmacy and Promise Pharmacy. But it has an open FDA warning letter, covered in the safety section.
It does not say what type of pharmacy each one is. A compounding pharmacy that makes a drug for one named patient answers to its state board. An outsourcing facility that makes drugs in bulk registers with the FDA. Neither name appears in the FDA register we read, so there is no inspection record to show.
The site states plainly which drugs are compounded and which are brand-name. Each plan names the molecule and the form.
How does Sprout Health work?
The care runs on messaging and a monthly check-in, not scheduled video visits. No appointment is needed to start. An assigned clinician reviews your intake and can prescribe the same day.
Before each refill, you complete a check-in so the clinician can adjust your dose. You message the clinician inside your Sprout account, which logs you in with a one-time passcode. The care team also answers by phone on weekdays, Mountain Time, and by email.
"GLP-1 medications are prescribed only when clinically appropriate." Orders usually ship 3 to 7 business days after the prescription is issued. Sprout Health does not state whether it asks for labs. It also gives little detail on its treatment protocols or how often follow-ups happen beyond the refill check-in.
Is Sprout Health safe? FDA status and warning letters
Sprout Health has an open FDA warning letter to Sprout Health Partners LLC dba Sprout Health, dated September 9, 2025. The subject is the unlawful sale of unapproved and misbranded drugs to US consumers over the internet, by a telehealth seller. The FDA reviewed the site in August 2025. It wrote that it "has observed that your website offers various compounded drug products, including semaglutide and tirzepatide."
The letter has no close-out. While it stays open, we do not link to Sprout Health. No letter names either pharmacy, and no other flag is open.
For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our semaglutide and tirzepatide pages, which quote the FDA labels.
How to cancel Sprout Health
You can cancel Sprout Health at any time. The monthly plans carry no minimum term.
The refund depends on timing. Before a provider reviews your intake, you get "a complete refund of that charge, no questions asked." After the review, the refund drops by a flat $50 clinical review fee. Once the prescription goes to the pharmacy, the charge is not refundable.
So the trap is speed. A clinician can prescribe the same day, which closes the full-refund window fast. If you are unsure, cancel before the review. The 6-month and 12-month rates are lower, but check what leaving early costs before you commit.

What customers say about Sprout Health
Sprout Health shows three short reviews on its home page. Two are warm. One patient finds the providers and the support as responsive as an in-person clinic, and another calls it a very positive experience.
The third is a complaint. A patient says the second order took 2 weeks to ship and left them without medication. These are the reviews Sprout Health chose to publish; this site collects no independent reviews. That one complaint matters more than the praise, because it matches the 3 to 7 business day shipping window.
